We're all getting ready for pilgrimage - and looking forward to the many events planned for next week - here is the prayer of the churches in Devizes that we have been praying since the start of the year:
Father of Glory,
We praise you that you embrace all people in the tender heart of your Son, Jesus.
Reveal your glory to the people of Devizes. Inspire our hope for the greater health and prosperity of our town.
Open our hearts to find our true wealth in the depth of our faith, the joy of our love and the generosity of lives poured out in the service of others.
We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.
Amen.
